You can grow food anywhere from your balcony to your kitchen window. Whether blessed with perfect soil or cursed with clay, scorched with sun or covered in shade, a garden will grow anywhere with the right plan. Anyone with the desire and a even the smallest amount of space can grow something to bring to the table.
Imagine plucking a salad you grew yourself from seed in the spring or pulling carrots for a snack in winter, knowing your food inside and out, from seed to sprout to mature plant. No more wilted lettuce or waxy tomatoes from the supermarket. This is food you know, food you raised. Once you begin, you will discover, as I did, that everyone has room to grow.
